There is some info there from one of the original developers, so take a look!
Not much hard data there, which won't matter in the end as the HW multiplayer networking code will need to be rewritten from scratch, right?
And hack-proofed... as bufferiffic as the HW code is, it might be good to keep an eye out for buffer overflows as we open up the code to external configuration files etc.
