Hey everyone!

I don't know how active this project is anymore, but I figure I should join and give it a shot. In my SVN access email, lmop mentioned that I should say what platform I'm interested in working with, so here's this:

I have a deep love for the Homeworld game, and the fact that I can't get it to run on later versions of Windows leaves me depressed, so I decided to see what I can do to remedy that by joining this forum. My targeted platform is win32 and I'll try to bring what experience (a few years in industry) I have in C++ coding to bear in improving the project for my specified platform.

I just looked through some of the other forum posts, and apparently the game was written in C.

Oh well, time to get to work.

If you are interested in Homeworld & C++ you might want to check out my fork.
It's based on HomeworldSDL and should eventually run on the Web and Android.
The plan is to start ripping parts out and rewriting them in clean C++. Currently the OpenGL ES/OpenGL wrapper is written in C++11.
