While waiting for SVN access, I've tried to mess a bit with the version of HWSDL that I've found somewhere on Github (that corresponded to r916, I believe). This resulted in a couple of patches that made the game accept SDL2 libraries (and build with VS2013, but that's out of these patches, since most of that is already in SVN trunk.)

Of course, these patches are extremely preliminary: for example, video mode enumeration and changing is broken, FSAA is probably broken as well. Come to think of it, even the background rendering was broken with the old set of sources! Looks fine now, though.
