Since doing the c# conversion I'm in need of a name. Problem is all names I currently thought of are...pretty lame. So I wait for you to give me good suggestions ;)

anything like the following is what I'd go with:

homeworld#
homeworld sharp
homeworld c#
hwc#, hw#

obvious and it works.

Is the use of C# the defining factor of the project? I thought it was compliance with the .Net framework, in which case the obvious name is "Homeworld .Net". Shame the domain of the same name has already been taken...

H#
H-Sharp

Although almost too brief , I think it's more clean than hw# etc.

Kinda. Currently it's THE language I plan to code the majority of code in.

Problem is .Net is Win32 only. Actually I don't even have a windoze machine anymore so I don't like to name it windoze specific.

Hmmm... why # as suffix?...

H#W
H-Sharp-W

With a graphic roughly like...

[Home#World]

... or something like that

Yes, folks.. it's now time for the zapkitty free association hour... :)

Well it just did strike me - what about Harpworld? So we still have the H in front and we continue to say something about a world or whatever ;)
Don't you dare saying something like "but harp is a music instrument" :P

So seems like Homeworld# won the race for now.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned #omeworld given #'s similarity to H - or maybe everyone thinks it's as bad as I do :)

Also, if it makes a difference, # is not a valid domain name character. You're stuck with alphanumeric and hyphen characters.

Nah, I don't care. Mostly # is replaced by "sharp" - so no problem there.
